Inov'dia 2011 2-day international workshop (December 8 and 9, 2011) gathers startups, labs, global corporations (Orange labs & SNCF), investors and local governments around Smart Mobility.

An international Program on Smart Mobility for Transport & ICT

• - Eco-friendly vehicles, new urban transport systems.
• - Geo-localization and mobile applications impulse the emergence of more flexible and multimodal new transport means, and facilitate the real time access (timetable checking, online payment, intermodal route planning, free parking space localization, m-tourism, ...)
• - Social networks and web 2.0 services allow users to develop appropriate service platforms such as ridesharing, car sharing.
• - the Open data broaden the scope of services through co-design between various actors.
• - Embedded systems and sensors for smart transport systems open the possibilities of new services (traveler information, eco-driving, logistics) and new technologies (autonomous shuttle).

Inov'dia 2011 is part of the Open Innovation European Project

Since 2009, Inov'dia is the innovation regional meeting in West of France. For its 3rd edition, the event will take place on December 8, 2011 in Laval and is part of the Open Innovation European Project.

Open innovation allows organizations to look beyond their internal resources to develop new products, services and sources of revenue. The aim of the Open Innovation Project  - a 3 year, multi-million euro initiative - is to deliver a diverse program of activities to promote these principles across the UK, France, Germany, Ireland and Belgium.
